Road Block #1: Well, I'm learning as we redo this motorhome. One, no one wants to replace carpet in a motorhome. They won't touch it with a 5 foot pole. I can find the carpet (because it isn't regular carpet, you use boat or car carpet) but I can't find anyone that will install it. So....we are going to clean it really well and see how it goes, as well as repair them and get creative with throw rugs. We are replacing 80% of it with hardwood floors but there are a few places I want to keep carpet (bedroom, slide out and under the driver & passenger seats). I figure eventually if I get tired of the carpet, I will search more or possibly find someone at an RV place that is willing to do it. Right now, I can't waste anymore time trying to figure it out. So it will do for now. I actually don't even think you will be able to tell but I still eventually want to get it replaced. Road Block #2: I hate our sink in our bathroom. It is plastic and the dirt just sticks to it. I would love to have a porcelain sink but....no one has one of those either. Camping World only has plastic and they are really cheap looking and cost a fortune. I tried Lowes but all the ones they have are too big. I haven't solved this problem yet. I'm going to do a little more research. Who would have thought getting a nice sink for an RV would be such a challenge.
